Perisher Blue Ski Resort is the most popular and largest ski resort in the southern hemisphere.
It includes four resorts - Perisher Valley, Smiggins Holes, Guthega and Blue Cow.
Wherever you choose, you’ll find a world of snow holiday fun and adventure for all ages including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snow tubing, night skiing tours and more.
Perisher Blue offers great snow holiday activities for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders of any age. For beginner skiers and snowboarders Perisher offers gentle, safe, fun slopes where you can learn to improve your skills at Pleasant and Pretty Valley.
Intermediate skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the variety of Perisher descents. Mt Perisher and Guthega Park offer some of the longest winding fast trails.
In the morning advanced skiers and snowboarders should hit the groomed slopes of Hypertrail and the trees of Devils Playground on Perisher Mountain. The virgin snow filled bowls and steep chutes on Mt Blue Cow are another favourite. Then, after a hearty lunch – and perhaps a Schnapps or two – you can challenge the Kamikaze mogels.
The Winter Sports Club have ski programs for adults and kids of all skill levels. They can help you improve you recreational skiing or even train you for professional events and races.
The Perisher ski season begins in June and ends in October.
There are plenty of ski and snowboarding equipment hire shops at Perisher and throughout the Snowy Mountains area that rent out equipment for downhill skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, alpine touring, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. But remember, it’s a busy place. So if possible, arrange your ski equipment hire prior to your visit.

Winter runs from June to August when the average minimum temperature is -3.7°C degrees Celsius. 70% of winter days are sunny. Pack a jacket, beanie, scarf, gloves and coat.
